About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Russell County Recovery is a non-profit organization led by people who support recovery in our community. Our goal is to develop and utilize resources to increase the quality of long-term recovery from alcohol and other substances. We are committed to creating services and striving to fill gaps in the system. We provide public support and advocacy directed in reducing the stigma that prevents people from seeking help.

Russell County recovery maintains a resource center where peer recovery support services and promotes a positive culture of recovery from substance use disorders. Our staff includes Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS); those with "lived experience" in addiction and recovery who serve as recovery mentors and system navigators.

Russell County Recovery has two recovery residences that support long-term recovery and can provide an affordable alternative to residential treatment.
